Kathryn & Mike October 15th, 2011

Kathryn and Mike’s wedding day was the perfect mix for fall. Colorful scenery, wind, rain and a touch of sunshine made their Manchester, Vermont ceremony very unique. The rain held off until the ceremony began, but Kathryn was prepared; she had her parents on either side of her shielding her with umbrellas, and wore fun polka dot rain boots. This was definitely a day to remember.

Jessica & Redd October 8th, 2011

Jessica and Redd could not have hoped for a more beautiful day for their wedding. It was the quintessentially perfect, azure sky, birds singing, kind of day that most brides dream of. After the ceremony, the wedding party took a quick detour through the Burlington area, where I was able to capture some classic shots. Upon finishing, we all drove over to Vermont National Golf club for a memorable evening of dinner and dancing. Please take a look at the pictures, my favorite is the shot of Jessica and Redd kissing, while her veil blows in the wind, it’s beautiful.

Jessica Neiles - Love the blog Lucas, thank you so much! We certainly had a beautiful day, I suppose good weather is a perk of being a meteorologist. ;-) You did a wonderful job, and we’re very happy that we chose you as our photographer. Thank you thank you thank you thank you, we can’t say it enough!

Geoff & Scott October 1st, 2011

Geoff and Scott were married on top of Mount Mansfield, at the Stowe Mountain Resort. The freezing rain and wind couldn’t stop the grooms and their guests, many of whom came armed with ponchos and umbrellas, from enjoying the mountaintop nuptials. The reception was an unbelievable good time, and I got some great shots of the guests in everything from leis to Mexican wrestling masks. Check out the sweet cake topper in the last picture!

Kirsten & Paul September 24th 2011

Kristin and Paul’s wedding was intimate and homespun. The couple hosted the reception at their lovely Burlington, Vermont home, and even did all the meal preparation and decorating. It was pretty awesome being a part of their special day, and getting to know them, their families, and their sweet golden retriever.
